Microchip off the old block
Malcolm Schokman writes about the realisation of a dream – the launch of the Peterites Reunited website and the role played by the Peterite father and son team of website designers.
Since the reunion website was launched on November 16, we have received numerous congratulatory comments on its simplicity and excellence. The duo behind the design and development are our very own Lawrence Heyn and his son Robert.
They started HEYNDESIGN in 2008, specialising in web design, print design, logos and advertisements. They also designed our 2011 reunion souvenir and Robbie was the “man behind the scenes” in managing the slide shows during the reunion.
We owe a tremendous debt of gratitude to them for their hard work and commitment in making our dream of a website come true.
It is our plan to make this website the main communication platform to keep old boys of our alma mater informed about our reunions and connected across Australia and the world. Lawry tells us that the content on the site right now is only the beginning of an exciting journey. We look forward with anticipation and hope you do too by clicking on the site regularly and by sending us your own contributions to share.
