Messages of sympathy

Stanley and I were close friends more in the primary section than in the upper school, however since he lived in Kensington Gardens and I lived in Hildon Place, we were very close indeed.

Stanley was tall and had a lovely voice, specialising in elocution and singing.

I wonder if some of you recall him Singing Cliff Richard’s Living Doll after the school assembly in the SPC hall. This was an era when talented students were encouraged to perform by Rector – at that time the Late Fr. Mervyn Weerakkody – who also was  into music.

I offer my deepest sympathies to any of his kith and kin who may have an opportunity to read this snapshot of a good friend.
